Who should attend

  • All Bertelsmann employees who want to further their education as data engineers, or deepen their knowledge
  • The data engineer deals with the topics of data extraction, transformation and integration at the beginning of the data science process cycle, as well as the continuous operation of data science models at the end
  • The goal is – typically in close coordination with a data analyst or data scientist – to make evaluable data available for their analyses and to bring the resulting models into operation
  • Requirements: Very good knowledge in the areas of standard and big data management, as well as excellent machine learning engineering and software development expertise, e.g. in Python or Java
