Our new e-learning class “Visual Data Analytics” targets employees who wish to learn about data processing and visualization and gain further knowledge in this field. Together with our partner reportingimpulse we raffling off five access codes.
In the era of digitalization, large amounts of data form the basis of an increasing number of business processes. Therefore, competent handling of large amounts of data in the digital working world is an important specialist skill. For employees, it is important to acquire and expand these competences – and this is precisely where our new e-learning class “Visual Data Analytics” comes into play.
It aims to be a modern, digital learning experience that targets all employees who deal with data processing and visualization and wish to further their knowledge in this field – from beginners to experts. Together with our partner reportingimpulse, we have developed a learning platform where the handling of complex data can be learned anytime, anywhere.
Correctly interpreting and visualizing data
The “Visual Data Analytics” e-learning allows interested individuals to prepare smart and well-conceived visualizations, to work on standardizations, or to develop existing standards. The dashboards and reports supply the necessary information content required for making decisions. The e-learning class covers the disciplines information design, reporting, dashboarding, storytelling, visual analytics and self-service. It consists of practical tasks as well as playful elements and best practice solutions. The learned methods can be applied in daily work routines.
For one year, employees will have access to more than 100 videos and will get feedback from a personal expert for submitted tasks. After the successful completion of all courses, they will receive a “Visual Data Analytics” expert certificate. Visual Data-Challenge – take part and win
As a special highlight, Bertelsmann University together with reporting impulse is raffling off five access codes for the e-learning class “Visual Data Analytics”.
What do you need to do? – Visualize up to four data sets from your life. There are no limits to your creativity, and you do not need to be an expert in the field. For example, you can prepare data from the areas family, hobbies or profession. The choice of format is also up to your preference – digital, in writing or crafted, anything goes. You can find some examples that show how this task can be solved digitally in this article.
