To successfully master these steps, competent cloud teams are needed. With the Bertelsmann Cloud Curriculum, Bertelsmann University now offers high-quality, individual online learning opportunities to build the requisite skills. The Bertelsmann Cloud Curriculum is a curated digital learning offer exclusively developed for all Bertelsmann employees who either want to expand their existing skills or acquire new expertise in the fields of cloud computing and cloud transformation.
As with the Data Curriculum, a role-based competency model forms the basis. Working with cloud experts from Bertelsmann businesses, three cloud roles were developed. These roles classify the required competencies, typical tasks of the respective job profiles, and the required mindset, from various perspectives. The role profiles developed cover the spectrum from specialist, technological to more business-focused expertise. So the Cloud Curriculum lets interested employees, whether they are newcomers or experts, go deeper into the field of cloud technologies and gain qualifications for current and new challenges.
The Cloud Curriculum, which is now permanently available, is regularly updated with the latest offers and gives employees a wide choice of courses and starting dates, so that they can start at any time according to their own needs and capacities. Besides launching the Data Curriculum for building data skills, starting September 15 Bertelsmann will also once again be awarding an additional 15,000 scholarships to interested parties worldwide in the second round of the Udacity Technology Scholarship Program.
